Why have an admission test?

Not only selection, but above all the identification of talents and an assessment of compatibility between the vision of Collegio and that of the family.

How to register for the Admission Test

After attending the open day, it is required to upload the following documents on the Admission Portal:

– IB Application Form.

– Personal statement

– Copy of the most recent report card.

Upon validation of the uploaded documents from the Admission Office, you will receive an email that notifies you of the test dates.

What does the Admission test involve

The tests will be carried out under supervision. There will be three tests with a short break in between:

1) CEM Cognitive Test (Cambridge Evaluation and Monitoring Centre), which examines English, Mathematics and logical -spatial skills (duration approximately 1 hour);

2) Writing test, in which you are asked to write a short essay chosen from two predefined titles (duration approximately 1 hour).

3) Interview with the IB Diploma Co-ordinator to ascertain the candidates motivation and knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme. The interview will take about 20 minutes approximately.

How do you prepare for the IB Admission test?

There is no specific preparation. The objective of the test is to evaluate the skills in the various areas, as well as the motivation of the candidates to undertake the IB Diploma Programme.

Please prepare well for the interview: research and be able to talk about the IB Diploma Programme in detail.

 

After the test

How are the results communicated?

Within 10 days of the test, through an online meeting set by the Collegio with those in charge of the Admission Office and the Principal of the IBDP, the outcome of the observations is returned to the student and his parents. The tests results will be commented during the interview and cannot be duplicated or forwarded to the family.

After the Open Day, you will receive an email with information regarding the tuition plan and the once-off enrollment fee

Priority for enrollment is given to brothers/sisters and sons/daughters of internal families as long as the application registration time is met. Following the completion of the admission process, upon receipt of authorization, enroll within the 5 working days. If all available places have been filled, a ranking is made on the waiting list that takes into account the time required for online application authorization and registration.
