Candidates' appraisals

Frequently Asked Questions
In order to ensure a better organization, Open Days are reserved to families who have requested participation by registering on the Admissions Portal. The day before the meeting, parents will receive a reminder.
Eventually in-person tours will be evaluated. During Open Days, we will show videos that will allow you to virtually visit the indoor and outdoor spaces dedicated to teaching, science and technology laboratories, the gyms, the cafeteria , the infirmary, the administrative and secretarial offices.
After Open Day you will receive an email with the tuition plan indicating the one-time contribution fee expected upon initial enrollment to Collegio San Carlo.
Each child will have to attend a meeting with the teachers of Collegio San Carlo and carry out some activities with them before receiving authorization to enrol.
Candidate observation sessions take place from October to June on days and times defined by the Admission Office.
The activities with the children include tasks guided by a PowerPoint with narration, listening and comprehension, educational games in Italian and English (with native English and Italian speaking teachers), activities with Lego bricks, drawing with colored pencils.
After participating in the Open Day, it is necessary to access the admission platform and upload the required documentation. Subsequently it will be possible to book the appraisal date.
As several professional figures are involved, the cost is 120.00 euros.

-The student comes from a bilingual/international pre-school (three years course);
-One of the parents is an English native speaker;
-Both parents are English native speakers but the student is able to understand italian language.

Via an online meeting scheduled with the Admission Officer and the Principal, the outcome of the appraisals will be given to the student and his/her parents. In case of acceptance of the application, you will be notified of the possibility of enrolling in the College's primary school in the Cambridge section or in the Intercultural section. The tests carried out will be visible during the interview and cannot be duplicated or forwarded to the family. No telephone information will be given.
In case of acceptance of the application, once the availability of places has been assessed, you will receive an email authorizing your enrollment. Digitally, through the portal, you will be asked to fill out the required forms, to pay the one-time fee for first registration exclusively via online payment.
This fee will not be refundable in case of withdrawal (the payment methods will be exclusively online according to the instructions that will be communicated to you).

Candidates not authorized for the intercultural sections will be able to enroll in the Cambridge sections, in accordance to availability and authorization
Priority enrollment is given to brothers/sisters of internal students of Collegio
and to sons/daughters of former students, provided that the application registration procedure has been respected and that, following the conclusion of the admission process and after receiving authorization, enrollment is carried out within 5 working days. If all available places have been assigned, a ranking is drawn up on the waiting list which takes into account the authorization and online registration times of the application.

Yes, Collegio keeps into account enrollment priority for a maximum of five business days. After that, Collegio will consider the seat assignable to other candidates according to the waiting list.
